THESE PARTS ARE NOT OUR STANDARD EJECTION AND EXTRACTION PARTS! This kit is designed to fine tune ejection to operate the way we want our personal short action repeaters to perform.
Why:
We do our best to accommodate the majority of brass on the market. Unfortunately, batch to batch and brand to brand we see a variation of brass rim thicknesses between .049″ to .064″. Good ejection is often determined by as little as .005″ too much clearance between the case rim and extractor. This is especially noticeable with short cases such as 6 Dasher with a .050″ rim thickness. Reducing the distance from the bolt face to the extractor has a few advantages. The later snap over of the extractor makes the bolt close a little softer. The reduced clearance directly translates to an equal increase in extraction cam distance. The increased retention of the brass allows users to run a lighter ejector spring. A lighter ejector spring improves bolt close feel. This also means that you can tune your action to throw your brass exactly where you want it whether that be send it flying or drop it on the table next to you.
What is included:
- A custom M16 extractor that has the hook positioned tighter to the bolt face than standard. (marked by the dash on the underside of the extractor)
- (2x) M16 Cross Pin
- (2x) M16 Spring (We have really good luck clipping half a coil off of the largest part of this spring to reduce the force required to snap over cases)
- Standard Ejector Plunger
- (2x) Light Ejector Springs (These can be trimmed up to 3 coils off depending on your bolt and brass setup)
- (2x) Ejector Cross Pin

These are to be used to tune bolt close, extraction and ejection of any current SHORT ACTION BAT Repeater that currently has a standard M16 extractor. This kit is intended to be used with SA repeater bolts that have our 3 O’clock ejector position and NOT with our old repeater bolts with our 6 O’clock ejector position. By purchasing this kit you understand that it may NOT be compatible with your BOLT AND BRASS combination.
Please verify this is the extractor type on your action as depending on the age and bolt face size of the action you may have a Slide plate or Sako style.
NOTE: This includes a custom light ejector kit that may not eject all brass. The size is custom to our current BAT repeater actions.
NOTE: The extractor function and shape are similar to a standard M-16 extractor but the size is custom to our BAT repeater actions and it will not fit or work in standard M-16 pockets.
